DOES IT HURT? GOOD! I'M GLAD!

Everything's a formula, you know? There's mathematics in the simplest acts - walking, for example. If you walk 36 feet in 12 minutes, you're moving at an average velocity of 3 feet per minute. Formulas look scary, but when you begin to understand the bits and pieces, it gets less confusing. Have you seen the formula for average velocity? x(f) - x(i) over t(f) - t(i)? What does that mean?? It's not that hard, just think about it; first, take your final position (this is what the "f" under the x is referring to), and subtract your starting point from it. It's just simple subtraction. If you were 50 feet east of your house and walked west 5 feet, 50 - 5 = 45, you are now 45 feet from your house. Your starting point is 50 feet, your final point is 45 feet. So x(f) = 45 and x(i) = 50. 45 - 50 = -5. Let's say you took 12 seconds to move 5 feet west. You don't even need to subtract for the second part (your t(f) is 12, and your t(i) is 0, it took 12 seconds in total), just divide -5 by 12. In that simple act of walking you moved at a velocity of about 0.42 feet per second west. Isn't that beautiful, in a way?

We used Math as a medium to escape from this planet.

Perhaps Hell, too, has an escape velocity. All we need to do is decipher this...
